Don’t miss these opportunities to watch live dance performances this month, including acts at the 2014 Orlando Fringe Festival!

Galmont Ballet: Fiesta Spagnola
It’s a Mother’s Day weekend performance with a latin flair! The program features excerpts from Don Quixote and Paquita by Leon Minkus, Bolero by Maurice Ravel, and a Mambo, performed by the Galmont Ballet students and choreographed and staged by founder-artistic directors Frank Galvez and Lucia Montero. Aprox. 1 hour 45 minutes with 20 min intermission.

Dance at the 2014 Orlando Fringe
While best known for being a theatre festival, the stated mission of 23nd Annual Orlando Fringe Theatre Festival is “to provide an accessible, affordable outlet that draws diverse elements of the community together and inspires creative experiences through the arts.” You’ll find a wide range of experiences, including a couple of dance options: Bless Me Father, For I Have Danced from Yow Dance and Camino Flamenco from Flamenco del Sol Dance Company.
